RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT

 

ICNODERM was born as a start-up innovative company with the view of identify and develop new technologies in the formulate field. The application of unconventional approaches is what brings together our philosophy that is based on the principle of natural formulas through essential compositions.

 

Our Labs are always busy in developing projects with the aim of creating new formulations and value from a scientific point of view what nature, culture and tradition brings in the context of the Sardinian territory. ICNODERM research activities often stem from collaborations with Universities and Research Institutes that work in order to preserve and value endemic products.

 

The first formulation created by ICNODERM, base of various products of the Line SOSTANTIA (Trade mark), is “IALUROSOMIAL”: this is formed by a particular category of micro particles (polymeric phospholipids) that consist of Hyaluronic Acid and Soy derived Phospholipids. Those inserted in gel base structures, are able not only to mime sensory characteristics of fluid emulsions, but also to enhance the performance of the active vehicles. On top of those characteristics IALUROSOMIAL is technically different from other formulations because of the absence of tensioactive and fatty/oleos substances thus favouring the reduction of allergenic potential.
